Have any studies been done to show a correlation between girls who get piercings, dye hair, get tattoos etc. and mental illness.

They're most likely on SSRIs. SSRI drugs tend to twist and warp the personality of its victim and cause her to want to do things she otherwise normally (without the drug) wouldn't have wanted to do or be interested in. I've seen many girls going crazy after starting on SSRIs and subsequently altering their bodies in various ways, suddenly coloring their hair and/or getting piercings etc, when before the drug they didn't do or want any of that.

daddy problems syndrome amplified by a tumblr/twitter echo chamber. 15 years ago girls like this used to just be emo, cut and smoke weed, now because of the unchecked validation the nu-internet and modern SJW culture gives these pseudo dykes they're running rampant, causing young males to go on shooting sprees and accusing their former male peers of rape for 15 minutes of fame.

in 30 years if society is still around we're going to look back at this period of culture and think ''what the fuck''.

so you think the SSRI's cause this behavior? Ive always thought the dressing weird and hair dying came first and that the SSRI's were the icing on the cake

We live in the age of glorifying mental illness rather than treating it in silence unfortunately. I think that is this generations biggest fuck up.

Taken from /r9k/:
"The dyed hair is often an abstraction from manga or anime and is an attempt to escape the ordinary or in extreme cases, reality. However most have horrible senses of direction when dealing with neon greens or blues and tend to fail to balance these in any meaningful form. Thus the "damaged look".
Piercings beyond the ear such as nose rings, especially the cow ring is to mark the person as a cow of "the system" thinking it's rebellious to point that out but really it just reaffirms weakness. The tattoos, especially if not discreet mark alot of things. Sometimes a lover or even an event or belief. Make your own assumptions when you see them. Mental illness is what some of these people wish they had in order to justify their life choices. The majority of them, however, bank off edgy looks and the real "damaged" of society in order to harvest "pity points" from strangers."

took them for a while and never had the urge to do that shit.

heavy body modification is a mersonality trait not the result of SSRI, its usually the result of histrionic personality disorder (common among women) or a way to change yourself because you can't live the way you are (usually includes self harm)

Tattoos + a decent amount of piercings is an immediate fuck no from me. Some of you are still young and haven't experienced them yet, pretty reliable indicator.

Dated a girl like this once. It was fun but also a massive mistake. Then again it taught me to avoid women like this.

I am now unironically dating a black qt and she’s like a million times better
