So scientists in the past respected philosophy because it was a respectable profession that produced respectable work. Scientists today dislike philosophy because modern philosophy is trash. Philosophy, as a worthwhile endeavor, died in the 20th century with all the great logicians of that era.

I never had to deal with any of this shit once during university. No mandatory racial awareness/rape awareness/mental health/tranny awareness talks at all. The department (chemistry) was always pretty much apolitical and as long as you ignored the student union you could basically go through university without any compulsory political indoctrination whatsoever.
Honestly it's not what I'd have expected, as I tend to think the UK would have more of that kind of thing, but it seems it happens more in american institutions.

Yeah I suppose there's still this underlying push for diversity and stuff, like you describe with the adverts/websites but once you're in the institution you can basically ignore it. From what I'd heard I was expecting mandatory rape training, white guilt tripping and tranny awareness sessions every year, but it seems that only happens in the US. Over here you just do your chosen degree and that's it.

we don’t have to worship these people or show political solidarity with any movement or ideals in higher education especially not as students. If you don’t like it why not try using violence to enforce your vision of right thought? That is of course what you wish that you could do.

I'd write like the biggest commie Stalinist bootlicker imaginable, praise Lysenko (who, as I believe, was actually black and the flaws in his theories were just racist lies to discredit a great, black, non-binary man), decry Mendel as white christian conservative incel, include something about how science should be decolonized and replaced with black magic and every third sentence would be reaffirming how much I love university's political commissariat.
