That's not how object orientation works. It's not ALL LIVES = MATTERS, it's ALL LIVES.MATTERS = 1. Whether an object matters is a boolean property of the object. Black lives is an object that extends the parent object which is all lives, and thus it inherits the contant values and properties of its parents.

Another way to look at it is that saying that a set contains something is not the same as saying that a set is equal to something. The alphabet contains the letter "a", but that doesn't mean the alphabet *is* the letter "a".
