It's not only safe enough for infants, but in fact necessary for their development. If it's safe enough for the smallest and most fragile humans to depend on exclusively for nutrition, then it is all but guaranteed to be safe for adults. Common sense prevails. Whether it is safe for an adult to drink breast milk exclusively or not is another question for which I doubt we have any empirical data whatsoever.

I'd be more worried about the health of the milker, adults' mouths are much germier than an infant's. I could only imagine how painful an infected milk gland would be. If it were my milker, I think I'd insist on milking to an intermediate container.

Drinking milk exclusively is definitely not safe for an adult because it's deficient in several minerals such as iron and zinc. This is true for milk from any species, including humans. It wouldn't pose any problem in the short term, but it's not viable as a long term diet.

It's not well understood why it's missing those minerals but it's possible that the removal of iron from the digestive tract inhibits the growth of harmful bacteria there. Because of the lack of iron, babies are born with a large supply of iron in their tissues which usually becomes depleted at 6 months of age, which is why babies need to be eating other food by that point.

I guess I've never really tactually explored a super flat boob, but if they have milk glands across the whole normal breast area then they should inflate evenly when producing milk. If not though, and her milk glands are all within an inch or two of the nipple, I think that's the only part that will really increase in volume.
