Assuming you already have the math prerequisites.

Classical Mechanics:
start with youtube or an online course
afterwards, Goldstein

Electromagnetism (and electrodynamics):
start with Griffiths
progress to Jackson

Thermodynamics/Statistical Mechanics
start with Schroeder
progress to Reif

Waves:
honestly, study fourier analysis from any good source, but there was a retard level book from French

Quantum Mechanics:
Cohen

Relativity:
Start with Schutz

Landau's books are incredibly if you are pain tolerant

why do all of these lists include the bible. Like youre literally putting the bible next to physics. What is it, some sort of bait? Why should I read about magic man in the clouds?

pic related got me into physics as a kid. it has basically zero math in it and i bet most of the actual info in it is outdated/wrong but it got me interesting in thinking about how the universe works and adopting a problem-solving mindset

CM needs Taylor, QM needs either townsend (intro) or sakurai or shankar.
honestly for each category as long as you have 2 books of relatively similar difficulty you'll be fine. you need a separate source just in case you really don't vibe with the first
