I've told that it is always just one sperm cell that gets in the egg. That there is never a tie where two happen to break through at the exact same time. There have been over 100 billion births during human history and probably twice that many fertilizations. In that many times, there never once has been a tie between two sperms breaking though the outer barrier of an egg?
