Well, I mainly did it because I was dissatisfied with how arbitrary every definition and analysis was, it just didn't seem to follow any kind of scientific method, it depended entirely on the professor's opinion.

Do a Physics and Maths double degree, then go back after undergrad and do a specialised Physics course, like Quantum Mechanics or Astrophysics. I guarantee it will get you a great job.
