Think about it. A science show with a major actor? This was meant to draw audiences in that would not normally watch scientific shows outside of maybe Myth-busters. If they had really wanted to do a show on the universe, they would have used an actual scientist. Hell, they could have replayed fucking Cosmos, and the message would have been better.

Instead, they chose some obscure ass topic, not giving any real information, and used a well-known actor in an attempt to bring a scientific documentary series into mainstream culture.
