Post an image that best describes how you feel your brain stores and processes information

All sorts of useless information gets soaked up, have had problems focusing it since childhood, still have.

Like a very wide vertex of swirling light
Sort of like this but streaked and I'm standing just inside it (my consciousness is just inside it)

Yeah, a vortex pulling things in. Like a whirlwind in a desert or on the side of a beach with no people

I'd also say geographically
Like, I walk around places I've been to recently or a long time ago in a way that sparks memories
I also remember and think via taste
My intuition/instinct guides me to taste things I'm familiar or unfamiliar with to give me metaphors to understand things (perhaps like encountering a new physical object and using it to analogise with) but less conscious than that

>> No.11411832

I have amazing recollection but I have trouble remembering things independently unless I've thoroughly studied it. Maybe a file cabinet?

Closest thing I can think of is pic related. Accessing data is a continuously variable process for me, the data is not granular but infinitely interwoven, reaching a memory is like scooping a bucket into the water and pulling an abject out of the formless mass, sometimes I pull extra stuff out too. It feels like a formless amalgamation, yet consistent.

Ah, so you are every other human brain in existence and me and my sister would be the crystal intelligences.

Hello, humanity. Always nice to finally meet for the last/first time cycle.

It doesn't really "store". This analogies are awful. When you recall something from memory, you are actually inferring the past, similar to inferring the future but with a higher success rate.

So if past can genuinely always be abandoned at any given point because the now referencers is eternal, why bother with anything except for bliss 24/7?

also imagine taking a tikz document and just pasting in all sorts of random circles and squares and arrows
when I think of one way of doing matrix multiplication I imagine lifting up a tall thin block and flipping it over and rubbing it across the square matrix up and down
if I have been thinking about factorization a lot I might accidentally try to factorize words in a sentence
eigenvectors is a big sortof machine with dials for adjusting its arrows and I can put another arrow into it and it makes chugging noises and when the arrow comes out it is the sameish as when it went in
