As for whether we should do something about climate change, I don't even know the answer to that question, but that's not the topic. The topic is the question of the science. Hence why I posted this on /sci/ and not on /pol/. The question of what to DO about climate change is a political question.

Second of all, the mere facts that 1) we know we're pumping gigatonnes and gigatonnes of CO2 in the atmosphere, 2) we know that CO2 is a greenhouse gas that causes global warming because we know of CO2's property to absorb and radiate energy, and 3) we observe the temperature rising (which is exactly what 1 and 2 would predict) are all PRETTY STRONG evidence, in themselves, that man is causing global warming.
