Do you think we would have been more interested in colonizing space if we have had a more interesting night sky?
If we had evolved in a system near the galaxy center for generally more stars in the sky or somehow with an entire galaxy on display every night.

Could go either way, we would probably have different gods related to whatever big cosmic scenery lit our night skies. Perhaps we would have come up with a religion that made it unholy to even think of reaching into the gods above
