This whole thing astounds me. I had never met anyone who actually unironically had any interest in astrology before coming to uni. In uni, I met tons of people in my first year, not a single one talked about astrology.
Suddenly in my second year I hear one person talk about astrology as I'm walking and instantly after that moment I meet dozens and dozens of white and latina girls who are totally into astrology. I just laugh and tell them I'm a libra and let them go on and on about it, it's easy to tolerate. But on the inside I'm just so confused. Why is this suddenly something people actually believe? Astrology is a fun mental game to play if you want to get good at Astronomy. Not only does it help you memorize actual useful astronomical information, but the lateral thinking is a fantastic exercise.
