I started uni last year, i'm 19 taking electrical engineering. I'm not a fucking retard i took calculus and programming in hs and that was easy, but my fucking god do i feel like one when i'm taking the courses i have now. Is it just that uni is supposed to feel like this or am i not studying enough or is it that i'm a unnaware brainlet.

Excuse, I can't find the part of your post that's either math or science, do you mind repeating yourself?

I'm sure they are proving numerous properties of determinants via permutations.

Same for me except computer engineering. But I had a pretty shitty first semester because brain problems, now taking exams knowing jackshit. I guess we just need to find an efficient way of studying.

Same for me but I'm doing computer science. Watched the most recent lecture on multivariable calculus yesterday and I understood jackshit. I can do the computation just fine, but all the theory the prof explains just flies over my head.

Brainlet. The only hard part of EE is how much time the labs take. The math, physics, and programming are the easy part.

You are a fucking retard based in your post. If you don't have the drive to put extra effort into understanding the material, change majors.

You were a brainlet the whole time, since high school teaches you baby crap and any subject you thought you were good at were simplified. It should have been a smooth transition, especially if you've taken a college course during your high school years.

You are learning, anon. Just push yourself to study more on the topic in-depth during your own time and you'll be alright.

Yes, you are an unnaware brainlet. You can change that though, just study more do a couple of rough sessions studying 10 hours a day. This will bring your iq a 5 points. Also do physical exercises and have a strict sleep schedule. Sleep at nights.
