I can't answer that for you. It depends on what kind of work you can see yourself doing. I work with people who do computational research and the big thing these days is deep learning. /sci/ thinks it's a meme but the fact of the matter is you can get paid to do it. Do some reading and find out what kind of skills companies you'd want to work for require of their employees. Start there. The more exposure you get to this sort of thing the better idea you'll have of what to do with it. An easy language to learn is python, so I imagine that'll be a pre requisite for most positions. Something like Coursera or Codecademy is a helpful, online resource for learning the basics of how to code.
