We haven't been contacted, haven't intercepted any communications, and haven't observed anything in the universe at all suggesting intelligent life that can't be easily explained otherwise. What is the thought process that leads a redditard into thinking that intelligent aliens are everywhere, and if so, can it be cured?

We have contacted aliens.

Aliens keep the major world governments in line.

Why is it that retards like you not understand that the universe is massive, even the galaxy we live in is massive?
The universe is filled with planets that have the conditions necessary to support life (which may be different than the conditions required to support Earth life). These planetd have had billions to evolve intelligent lifeforms.
No shit that this intelligent life hasn't contacted us, or even interacted with us, they physically can't. We're simply much too far away.

Never argued that life doesn't exist, shitbrain. Only stated that it's not abundant, as should be immediately obvious to anyone who keeps up on this kind of stuff.

>it big
Nice reddit talking points. Just because a planet can support life doesn't mean it does. And just mentioning how 'it big' doesn't address the argument either. Sure there's probably some microbial life out there. But there's exactly no evidence of intelligent life. Why don't you see Dyson Spheres around every other star or an infrared signature resulting from the waste heat of such civilizations? Oooh right. Because they don't exist. Now go back to r/space and don't bother me again.

Universe is big. Imagine a fictional universe, such as the warhammer 40k universe. Try and use imaginative powers to really visualise that universe and the millions of worlds occupied by humanity, and the endless other worlds occupied by other xenos.

Now realise that is one galaxy.

Why don't you see a dyson sphere around our star? Ergo humans do not exist.

Why would ayys have any incentive to make their presence known? I'd wager any ayys we meet will be non self aware but more technology logically advanced. We'd also be systematically wiped out before we even realized we had met ayys. Pray to your god we never do.

Even if the universe is big and alien life exists somewhere, it doesn't matter, humanity will be long gone before even our radio transmissions (moving at light speed) will reach anything

A Dyson Sphere would block the light from a star, so it can't be seen by us and would actually make it much harder to observe any solar system harvesting energy with a Dyson Sphere.

Maybe that can explain why we expect to observe so much more mass than we actually see in the universe and have to add in Dark Matter to make the calculations balance with observation.
