Can a machine have a mind?

Maybe, but human brains aren't computer-like, before someone posts this:

Animal brains are analog computers, really life itself is basically uncountable electrochemical nano-machines all working together. The nature of computation is pretty abstract and it's scary to consider the possibility that the process zinging around in our brains isn't any more fundamentally meaningful than if an identical brain having that same thought were being simulated out on pen and paper.

There's no good argument for why machines can't have souls.
Fundamentally a monotheist must believe the world is nothing but God.
If there was anything else than God there would be two gods not one.

depends what you define as a mind, if you mean consciousness then yeah it's completely possible some would even say inevitable, the reality is that machines are complex and at the same time simple kind of like humans and because of that there will always be fears of a "robot uprising" which is completely fucking retarded in my opinion aside from that though yes its completely possible for a machine to have a mind, a consciousness, and to be sentient while we might not be there just yet it's most likely to happen in our lifetime

It's ultimately rather futile, and somewhat pointless, to try to orientate yourself to outside realities, timelines, and parallel universes if you don't interact with them in any meaningful fashion.

tl:dr nothing changes the fact that you're here and now; wherever and whenever that maybe relative to everything else; and for what's it's worth.... I orientate everything else relative to myself as the center point

;-)

There is, because we don’t know if souls exist at all.

Why would being a dualist matter? Why ought the “soul” or the “mental” interact with neurons but not some sort of electronic pseudo-neuron?

We don't know what is required to form a mind and a organic device produced 'artificially' (by that I mean we know how to do it) would still count as a machine. So the answer is yes.
