The total energy of the universe appears to be 0. Let us assume it is 0. Then to observe the universal wavefunction, I can only observe that which I'm not a part of so I take my mass out of the mass of the universe. The effective observable universe for me now has the mass (0-m) where I am 'm' kg. Now the time evolution of this wavefunction is seemingly dependent on my mass out of everything that could've been. Therefore different observers will observe different universes.

I really doubt he ever says the net energy density of the universe is zero since that is obviously false.

I didn't bother to watch that video. The title is "universe is flat." Yes it is true as far as we can tell the universe is flat. And it requires a positive energy density for this to be possible. Look up "critical density," and learn something for a change

you can't observe yourself? WUt? You do realize that you do not need 85% of you body mass to observe something right.
