If Black people scored lower on an IQ test and there's a correlation between race don't just deny it because your agenda says otherwise. The situation is easy. You have results. You want to translate them into something that can be evaluated by means of statistical methods. Of course, numbers happen to be particularly handy for such things. Whether or not you agree that a single number can properly quantify the range of intelligence we observe is another question. IQ tests more often than not also give single scores for sub-tests and the actual IQ score is just the average over all the sub-tests.
Now the number itself still has implications and these are clearly known. It's correlation with and probable causation of other social and psychological components is not up to discussion. Denying them is akin to denying the mathematics that underlie all of science.

Why do people care so much what US scientists can conclude from genome maping, their ethics council already controls most of science and wants to ban human engineering. In genetic research China is the leading party and they produced the most valued albeit almost globaly shunned results (due to aborted embryo research) for at least two years.

As part of my med program I had to do projects with other people in the health sciences.
Psychology students were by far the most stupid of the health science degrees, which is part of the reason I don't consider it a science.
