It struck me the other day whilst watching a news report that whilst NK - a throwback hermetic autocracy with some of the lowest indicators of development in the world, and one of the world's smallest economies - has the capability of launching satellites, the UK - 5/6th largest economy in the world, supposed world leader on many scores - does not.
