and that's the gender neutral statistic, at least 5.1% of boys specifically are getting diagnosed these days.
i'm guessing more awareness or improved diagnostic criteria but it could also be that people are putting off having children until later in life, and parental age correlates with an increased 'risk' of autism.

You know, I'm willing to bet it has something to do with the cumulative effects of certain industrial pollutants. What shit did we start pumping into the air/water/soil within a few decades of the 1970s? Maybe it's some knockoff effect of a fertilizer or pesticide? Can we look at whether autism occurs more commonly in some regions versus others? It's weird to me that autism and obesity also started ramping up at around the exact same time, I swear we must be poisoning ourselves unwittingly.

There was some manufacturing plant in the heart of the country that was producing "a hit new product" in the 1970s. The industrial runoff from the production has seeped into the ground and spread throughout the country, affecting fetuses to this day. It's a malady we're still unaware of. In 2065 there will be an exposé exposing exactly what happened. But by then it will be far too late to do anything about it. The country will be projected to collapse under the weight of the autistic population by the turn of the century.

Yesterday, literally yesterday, I had to do a free intro class for the private academy I work at, some kid literally pulled his pants completely down to scratch his fat ass. He was in the front of the class because I already made him sit in front because he wouldnt shut up.

Fortunately my back was turned at the time and another teacher coincidentally saw through the window and took the kid out. Its fortunate because I would have powerbombed him and lost my job.

Kids in the past were forced to cooperate with others or face severe discipline or bullying. Thats my explanation.

Humans are increasingly living lifestyles they hadn't evolved to live. We see physical examples in obesity and heart disease, and mental examples in the rise of autism, bipolar disorder, and even gender dysphoria. These were present before modern times, but much rarer, as humanity's environment was much more natural. While the physical issues can be fixed, the mental issues, gained through childhood, are irreversible.

>Why?

I know the answer to this one.
Because medical care for children is pretty much all paid by the government and the government likes to categorize things for easy accounting, standardization, and to monitor for fraud.
Autism has a HUGE spread of symptoms.
Is is much easier to diagnose a child for Autism then it is to check for dyslexia, psychological nervousness, etc.
Basically Autism has become the default diagnose for any kid having developmental difficulties that are not clearly physical in nature (blindness, deafness, etc) or mental deficiencies.(retardation)

probably a mix of more recognition of the condition (boomers would just try to beat it out of them) and possibly some degree of over/mis-diagnosis.

if you dont display symptoms of the disorder between birth date and 3 years old you do not have it...sometimes its present at birth (symptoms) and in most cases i believe it has a sudden onset, usually around 1-2 years old...that or it just takes the parents/care givers a little longer to actually notice what's going on. things like aversion to sound, lights, extreme hand flapping, echolalia, when the child *seems* deaf or impervious to pain, or very sensitive to touch (it can be hypo and hypersensitive)...the child not responding to their name or engaging with adults/other children is a big red flag. you cannot assume their behaviors are due to conditioning or abuse, 1-3 year olds should always respond to their names and seek engagement with their parents. if they're not responding to their name and wont try to engage in pretend play that's a big warning sign they are autistic.

i know this because ive done a lot of research on ASDs, been around other autist and am on the spectrum myself and i could see myself on old video footage of when i was a baby/toddler and all the tell-tale signs were there. my face is pretty much like the autismo is in pic related.

the thing is to the majority of the public if you're not a head banging retard who screams and self injures, has seizures or whatever else, you're not considered truly autistic. if you're very high functioning (independent and can have sex) then people insultingly say that "you're not really autistic" or "they must've made a mistake" etc. it only becomes very apparent when a person spends time with you and they see your traits/behaviors, especially the lack of empathy. the empathy deficit is very obvious when you're in a friendship or relationship with someone. others freak out at over labels (family).

elliot rodger had PDD-NOS (a type of ASD) and if you read his police report there's some good information about it. how he was when he started school, it seems all kids with PDD-NOS have very similar traits in early life.

I believe PDD-NOS differs from asperger syndrome because kids with PDD-NOS tend to have a slight language delay and/or motor delay where as aspies dont have language delays. classic autism/kanner syndorme is the full retard variant. i remember a non-verbal kid at school had classic autism and he was obviously extremely sensitive to sound and yet his dumb fuck care giver (friend of his mother) and teachers would force him to be present during assemblies. its really unfair for most autist to be forced to be integrated in normal schools.

>> No.11182415

id say this is another good/likely explanation for why the dx rates have gone up. ASD has a fuck ton of comorbidities. at the end of the day the most clear defining feature of all ASDs is the lowered (or lack of) empathy and weak/non-existent theory of mind. a lot of aspie fags will say they "only" have a lack of cognitive empathy where in reality a lot of autist have issues with motor empathy too. my whole life if someone tries to point something out to me i REALLY struggle to find where they are pointing or look where they are looking, when people point it confuses the fuck out of me and takes a lot of time for me to process what's happpening. there's also stuff like yawning when others yawn or feeling someones pain when you see them get injured. seeing people hurt doesn't effect me at all but when i notice other people tend to react to another persons pain.

2 increase in idiots testing for it, medical and psychiatry practitioners misdiagnose patients based on the illnesses theyve spent more time around, doctors who constantly try to rip kids tonsils out for no good reason, retarded psychologists who are obsessed with multiple personality disorder, autism is more easily diagnosed and potentially misdiagnosed, same issues apply to other developmental disorders like adhd

happens to me all the time and i remember it always being like this. my dad would rage at me when he'd point stuff out and it'd take me forever to find what he was pointing at and often id just give up out of frustration. i really have to pause and think now to try deal with this, its embarrassing at work because i do a reasonably physical job where we need to communicate between each other and call out errors/fuck ups. it happened again the other day too when i was at the road with my girlfriend and she was pointing at a ribbon on a tree (because its christmas) and it took me ages to find where the fuck she was pointing and all she did was laugh at me because im looking EVERYWHERE but where she is pointing.

Yeah, pretty much. Never thought of the synesthesia aspect either but that sounds like a good way to look at it. Wish I remembered how the fuck I personally dealt with it. I think a combination of my parents treating me normally (but patiently) and tons of public speaking/leadership shit with autist-friendly rubrics being forced on me in high school helped a lot. I still glaze the fuck over when someone talks to me, but now I let my eyes roll in the general direction of their face. i can fake it too up to a point but the limit is when i reach my "max load", in other words being around too many people or a person/s too often, eventually it kinda breaks me and i revert to my autistic ways. this happens every time i get close to someone (like a girlfriend), the mask slips eventually and i cant keep up the acting and devoting so much energy into appearing normal. im very lucky my current gf accepts my tism and generally piss poor empathy. i guess being reasonably good looking and funny/sweet makes up for the retardation and being bit of an arsehole. Science is progressing a way faster now, and consequently the environment also change a lot faster. The impact of our societal and economic choice probably greatly impact young generation, and it is becoming more difficult to asses this impact.

If you want an example: a kid "educated" by looking at people though the screen of a smartphone (where there is no interactions), will probably have more difficulties to have correct social interaction than a kid educated by interacting with real people.
New technology are being integrated in our daily life (including kids) at a rate never seen before. I could totally believe this is one reason of the increased case of autism.

Here is my theory on autism.

Autism really has to be seen as a spectrum, once you go past a certain point you can be considered autistic. So it's not just a condition like having a broken arm where you either have your arm broken or not.

Now for why it is more prevalent nowadays I'd say it's for two reasons:
-first child mortality: Before autistic people, like anyone who had any kind of mental disorder had two choices, adapt or die out (you have to rememember that back in the roman period half children died during infancy, afterwards it lessen a lot but was still pretty high until the 21th century)
For those who were high functionning enough they adapt until their autistic trait almost disapear.
But those who weren't high fucntionning enough just died out. Of course there were a few who survived infancy despite not being functionning enough but they were outlier.
-Second reason is technological development, those who could have been considered as almost normal back in the days aren't anymore since because of the influence of thechnology they weren't able to develop good enough social skills.

And finnaly there is also the fact that people get diagnostic more often.

Autism is a fitness depressing pathological condition intolerable in an environment where tight-knit hunter gatherer bands and small agrarian communities would have to routinely marshal resources for community defense, marital alliances, food allocation and ritual community bonding. It is not logical that this would have been a prevalent condition at any appreciable rate in most human environments so that either drastic relaxation to selective pressures or developmentally disruptive environmental changes in the last few hundred years would be the only logical causes. >>11179847
This argument presupposes that a neurodevelopmental disorder, caused by high mutational load and abnormal development, is something that has been historically prevalent. This violates the logic that informs evolutionary theory and so gives no explanation for the cause of this condition spreading so rapidly. Thus, this is a false hypothesis, there is no evidence nor causal mechanism that could explain the explosion in autism diagnoses that is reasonable given the broader robust biological theory that informs our understanding.

Read https://journals.lww.com/pbj/Citation/latestarticles/The_link_between_salt_and_neurological_disorders_.99948.aspx and see reference "Alpha emitting nanoparticulates, the forgotten pollutant" for PROOF

You will understand that many causes have increased due to industrialization (uranium, thorium etc. in coal, in oil & gas (in these two cases it's not natural, unlike coal), phosphated fertilizers, and sometimes nuclear fallout, nuclear accidents & exposition to depleted uranium weapons - where they're used it's a crime against humanity, and near military camps where soldiers train with them)

Hence progressive increase in autism cases, even though I'd be extremely careful with the exact quantification due to the varsity of diagnosis systems

>> No.11186433

>>11186349
Not actually very autistic after some time dealing with true spergs. I like talking with other people too much and don't react nearly as strongly to sensory overload as an autist would. But, that doesn't have anything to do with the fact that one cannot guarantee the strength of the argument for diagnoses being the cause of this exponential increase in autism. It is not sustainable in a highly social mammal at anywhere near the incidence rate we are seeing, and so another explanation is warranted. However, there is no strong evidence for the genetic or environmental causes of the disorder and we can only speculate as to whether its a combination of the two or make tenuous hypotheses as to which specific disturbances could be at the root of the epidemic. Mutational load seems reasonable but that's also a good way of avoiding discussion of the topic and provides little insight. Argument for it could be that in conjunction with the increase in autism, autoimmune disorders, musculskeletal defects, metabolic disorders and other strange fitness depressing diseases and deformities are increasing in prevalence and seem to not have been present at nearly this frequency just a few hundred years ago, and are not observed in healthy mammal populations.

Mammals are smarter than most humans
They feel damage and flee it as soon as they can

See >>11186410 my earlier comment

Most humans self repress their bisexuality, they like to be victims, it's a substitute to the anal penetration (bisexuality is universally innate)

They only react if they can react as a community, form a political movement structured against scapegoats with the will to cut some heads
They will NOT adapt individually
They indeed want a group united against scapegoats to feel the romantism that they miss (as males, self repressing their bisexuality, they need a love component in the group that is found in the definitive decision to come to bloodspilling of opponents, read René Girard)

It's only, I think, in the USA that I know that there are MANY people outside this logic
The % of participation in federal elections, typically low, shows this
Absence of fear of guns also was known to be a proof of lack of self repression of the innate bisexuality (Freud says this absence of fear is a "sign of sexual and emotional maturity", confirming it's a good step)

Its EMF, electronic radiation, and vomputer screens/tv screens specifically.

When someone watches a screen they have to tune out their surrounding environment, this is alot different than reading a book because on a screen the picture changes dramatically, so the brain has to adjust how it balancea processing there environment around it and focusing on the screen.

The cumulative effect of this over motnths to years produces something like autism, where the brain is automatically trained to assume there is a screen in front of it, and when there isn't it has trouble literally taking in the normal sensory load.

Who gets autism is based on their susceptibility, but I can tell you we are all autistic to some point in this day and age, but also autism is caused by of course chemicals too but the extreme spike should be obvious for anybody, because the 70s was the beggining of mass use of vs in households.

I think processed food is the worst thing to happen o us. It is very unhealthy, bad for you brain and bad for your body. Real processed food doesn't kill you straight away, but kills you slowly day by day as your body becomes more and more cancerous or more likely to get diabetes or any number of bad food related problems. People who happen to eat healthy food just so happen to have sharper minds and are more motivated. I dare say that the Mediterranean diet will become the norm in the future once more people realise. Eating healthy should be as obviously good for you as quitting smoking or quitting drinking and yet it isn't because the junk food companies are too powerful.

Neurotypics are just beneath Autismos. They are getting bred out, because their extroverted minds are becoming less and less important in the Information Age, and will widen with each age forward in terms of gap.

Fact of the matter is, HF Autism is simply superior for the 2000s, and will remain as such for at least centuries. The only reason everyone isn’t autistic yet is due to boomers and boomers infecting their kids with their outdated minds.

Studies have revealed that having children later in life increases risk of the child developing neurological conditions during preignancy, this combined with the fact that people in the west choose to have children later would explain some of it. Another reason is also that we've become better over the years at diagnosing autism.

A better solution would be to provide better economic and social benefits for mothers, so they actually have an incentive to have children while they're young instead of waiting until they've properly established themselves. Of course this will never happen because current goal in the west is to make pregancy as undesirable as possible.

Kids born from 1995 onwards grew up or are growing up in different social circumstances. Since they had access to social media from a young age, their mindsets have adjusted accordingly.

Gen Y kids and the generations before had no internet, and could socialize like 'neurotypical' people. Even so, there's a handful of autistic people among Gen Y as well.

Right now, Gen Y's children (Gen Alpha, born from 2010 onwards) are growing up with iPads from a very early age. By the time they can vote, autism will be seen as one of various normal mindsets.

Technological and cultural advancement changes the mindset of humans, it's only natural.

The development of the eye-white as a means of communication by easier finding out what someone is looking at feels relevant to notice here.
As well as over-active mirror neurons as an explanation for the difficulties with eye contact in autism.

Since I got a brain damage I easily become overloaded with impressions; noises of unclear origin/heading, uneven terrain, bright light and eye contact are just some of the things that I have difficulty to process now and results in the same feelings as the being blinded by bright light. It's interesting to experience how much information the brain could process without being concious about it. Now I enjoy silence while before I enjoyed calm background music.

I can relate to autists easier and probably even get a diagnosis if I highlighted some traits and ignored others.
