How much longer before we can put concepts like eating and sleeping behind us?
Can't tell if we will go with robot bodies first or straight to VR and leave everything physical.

But only requiring electricity to stay active 24/7 would be amazing.

Eating a homemade lentil curry with baked sweet potato is fucking based though. So is working out, doing physical exercise... The pump is a better feeling than orgasm. Fucking idiots. Why wouldn't the AI we would be joined with want to experience things that they couldn't understand without possessing a physical body?

With the brain in the machine everything can be simulated. You could have a constant orgasm in VR if you felt like.

For the ..

I don't fucking know what you believe, but you should train yourself... Like really putting your head on a track and let it go trought.

If computers really are going to replace us, we probably never will. By that point, eating and sleeping will be trivial, since we will be trivial.

The only way obsolete/steampunk-like technologies will ever see the light of day is after a massive societal collapse; where the capabilities of modern tech still exist, but the realities of limited resources and expertise force commoners to rely on archaic technology. If you've ever pursued an advanced subject as an amateur, you will regularly find yourself following 80+ year old schematics while using cheap modern components and simulators. A rare niche that is neither useful to industrial leaders of the past or present.

Perhaps then, some medical AI might be able to shit out a recipe for forgoing sleep/food.

I will side with the wild people. As the majority "plug in" or upgrade to live off-world my tribe and I will roam the earth that is quickly being reclaimed by nature, setting up small agrarian townships that we travel between at our leisure.

the human condition is based. anything other than the real thing is simulated, thus inferior.
unfortunately, i feel it's likely that humans will be forced into servitude or are cleansed once people begin augmenting their bodies with cybernetic components. the human experiment has no happy endings.

It's probably a fake fantasy about a male being turned into an sperm incubator.
Dunno if it ever happened in reality, but it would probably be just bondage and "conventional" rape, without any intermediate devices to store sperm. I may be wrong though.
