The current leading hypothesis is that there is a massive sexual selection on height in the Netherlands which caused the average height to skyrocket between 1500s and now. Dutch men don't date short women and Tall women don't date short men so there is a constant push where the tallest people had the most children and to this day that's still true.

Lived my entire live in Amsterdam. This isn't the case at all. In fact it's so rare that you see people act shocked when seeing a dutch girl and a foreigner in a relationship. Similar for a Dutch guy with a foreigner though. It just is extremely rare. Which is logical the immigrants are shorter, poorer and have smaller penises than us. They are clearly seen as inferior by dutch women.

There are some downsides to this mindset though. Dutch guys that date foreign women are usually bullied for being a loser that can't get laid with pristine dutch girls. Here in Amsterdam in particular it's usually British girls. If you have a British girlfriend then you are seen as weak and pathetic and get banter thrown at you all the time. Kinda like how 4chan calls white guys with asian girlfriend "incels" similar banter exists between dutch guys if they date non-dutch girls or short girls.

Thank you for trying to educate me about my own city though. I hope you realize the rent in Amsterdam is so high that immigrants can't afford to live there and instead have to commute with public transport to their work in the city and go out of the city after work.

One of the theories is that antibiotics in the food means the animal has to expend less energy in fighting infections and can therefore promote more towards growing.
