When Jane Goodall studied chimps she came to two very big conclusions. Chimps are so human-like the definition of "human" would need to be changed if we didn't want chimps to be considered human. Chimps are fucking idiots that kill and rape each other constantly. She said it was tough to deal with the idea that all the problems in human societies could be rooted in our biology.

Because whenever peaceful and intelligent people segregate, some big nosed hand rubbing politician comes along with "muh housing programs" that injects a fuckload of unintelligent and criminally inclined minorities into the middle of the previously decent area, which leads to the emigration of peaceful and intelligent population, which leads to the complete downfall of said area. Once that is done, the minorities are send to the next decent area to destroy with muh housing programs and the process is completed with the "gentrification" makeover, the rent is increased by 800% and gets filled by hipsters, asians and generally people with too much money to spare.

Not sure if intelligence and peacefulness are differing that much between urban and rural. Do you have any evidence of that? I might be inclined to agree with you on inner cities vs. suburbs, or the west vs. east side in some particular city, but I don't really see it in rural. At least not in my country (northern europe).
