Are these all problems taken straight from the Putnam competitions or are these original somehow? It doesn't seem like too much work to take a problem that already exists and slap a picture next to it. Or maybe I just don't understand why someone else can't continue to post these themselves.

By making n large we can get arbitrarily small positive sum of squares.

Then when we have a really small sum of squares we can get any number above that by adding three terms, an = b, a{n+1} = b a{n+2} = -2b.

So the sum of squares can become any positive value.
