The worst is when the government actually does care and they get voted out. My government instituted a carbon tax which is the most agreed upon way to dissuade people from creating pollution. All I see now are attack ads that this is going to make fueling your car more expensive. Yes. That's the point. Gas is more expensive so that companies and consumers will switch to more eco-friendly alternatives.

There's a good chance the government will actually get voted out for trying to actually do something about climate change.
