I want to calculate the time difference from one meter to another, or from 10 meters in difference.
How can I make this calculation?

>> No.10947723

Can anyone help me?
Is it clear what I mean? For example, how it is 10am in Canada, and 22pm in Japan, etc. But how do you calculate it on a square meter difference?

Let’s say you want to find the difference between 10 meters. And let’s say the difference between Moscow and London is *exactly* n. The m means meters between Moscow and London.
n/m=x/10
After that you just replace your variables and do the calculation like following:
n*10=m*x
x=10n/m
You get that?

Yeah, thanks for that part, but there is something missing. How do I know wether to add or rest time from my personal timezone (the exact time where I am standing) vs. the personal timezone of someone else? If the sun goes down on the side they are in, I have to add it right? And if they are in a position relative to me where the sunrise happens, I substract it.

Tell me if that idea is right plz. Also, I don't know what to do if the other person is not in one of those points relative to the sun.

1)
Googled:
time difference between buenos aires and paris

Results:
4:31 AM Friday, in Buenos Aires is
9:31 AM Friday, in Paris, France

2)
Googled:
distance between buenos aires and paris

Results:
11,043 km

3)
11,043 km = 11043000m

5 hours = 18000seconds

4)
18000sec / 11043000m = x / 1

0.0016299185(...) more advanced seconds per 1 meter, as long as distance being measured corresponds to the same alignment as going from Buenos Aires to Paris.

Did I get it right? Can someone check my maths? I'm not great, so I'm not sure.

>not sure if retarded or just Brazilian
I'm not retarded, my question is completely valid, and I'm not Brazilian either.

>why is your nation burning down the amazon, btw?
The Amazon jungle is going through a normal burning phase, with the normal rates of each year. It is being sensasionalized in the news to link it with mental gymnastics to eating meat, and promoting more veganism to depopulate Earth.

What the fuck are trying to accomplish? Your calculation is "correct" but doesn't mean anything.

Thanks for confirming my calculations.

I want to accomplish knowing how far ahead in time may be someone I am talking to, or a place where I want to go to.

Dont use distance then, use coordinates. For every degree of latitude east someone is from you, they are practically four minutes ahead of you.

See kid, that is wrong way to think about the problem.
Say, given a point A and a point B between whom you want to calculate the time difference.
1) Find the Longitude of A and of B get difference between those, say X Longitude.
2) Remember 360 Longitude = 1 day.
3) Now do the simple math, the answer you are looking for is X/360 day.

So, if you are talking to someone who is 2 meters away from you, in degree of latitude. How far ahead they are from you?

>> No.10950252

>>10949777
Dude, saying that the person is 2meters away from you, does not tell you the difference in longitude.
For example,
1) Say the person if 2meters north or south of you, then the time difference is 0.
2) Say you are on the equator and the other person is 2 meters to left then the difference in longitude is say X.
Now say, you are in a country to the higher north(for example UK or mother russia, i.e. not on the equator). Now again say, the other person is 2 meters to your west, then say, the difference in longitude is Y.
X!=Y, but infact, Y>X.
The only better explanation I can give will be to actually give you examples, which frankly I won't.

Maybe to clarify a bit, >>10950252
The difference in longitude is measured in degree(as in the angle).
360 degree = difference of 24 hours(1 day).
1 degree = 4 mins.

Amazing, thanks bro. I won't keep bothering with this, I just thought it was a cool idea to discuss.
