I'm going to find a fucking useful prime number formula I swear. I've already found a pseudo prime formula on my own now I just need to find the real thing

>> No.10936503

Post pseudo prime formula

>> No.10936507

>>10936503
I found it in a vision:

A^n - B^n - 1 divided by n where A+B = n and A-B = n

if n can divide A^n - B^n - 1 evenly then n is a prime or pseudo prime as long as A+B = n and A-B = n

That means that for 5 it is
3^5 - 2^5 - 1 / 5 which divides evenly
but for 9
5^9 - 4^9 - 1 / 9 does not divide evenly
Apparently it works all the way up until 341 or something like that.

I found it from my french elestial girlfriend.

I haven't really studied math before so I was interested to see that it works fairly well.

mersenne primes, Euler's coprime thing, Eratosthene's sieve
There's plenty of useful prime number formulas but the Riemann hypothesis remains unsolved.

Does this make me a hypocrite?

No one has done this in thousands of years. Most of the greatest minds in history have given though to coming up with an elegant formula for prime numbers yet no one has. Give up and do something more practical.

A schizoid is actually a different thing from a schizophrenic, I am also really genuinely right and I will eventually prove it. You guys are a tough crowd but don't worry. Don't be so dogmatic. Everybody is wrong about everything except me of course.

Here is your formula in Python code:

Python supports very big integers so you can find new formula with it.

Computers are fast wow how does it even test for numbers greater than 2000 with my slow equation? That's pretty interesting that it can do that. This is only the beginning don't worry, Fermat spent way longer than I did to find his equations.

>> No.10938015

I wonder if I have that vision again maybe I will see a better equation? They were teaching kids using my equation in the vision and uh the equation doesn't always work so I wonder, maybe that equation was teaching about pseudo primes and maybe later they show the real one... hmm... patience...

>>10936533
Riemann's been solved.

>>10936552
Elegant is relative, but there is now an exact formula for the prime distribution and a recursive sequence for the nth prime.

>>10938898
I think there was a million dollar prime formula prize up until about 10 years ago, but it got removed.
There are still prizes for specific large primes.
Clay institute still offers the million for the Riemann. It needs to be published and verified publicly for 2 years before being eligible.

But maybe he's right, anon. Perhaps trillions of people from the future are reliving the lives of great individuals from the past, greatly increasing the probability than any given consciousness will turn out to be a "great person." So if you're actually conscious and not a philosophical zombie, keep that in mind.

You could never make a prime number formula like I did. I am officially smarter than you, you are relying on anger and ape emotions and small posts because otherwise you lose the argument. Nice try though, here's a cookie for the baby.
