120 IQ retard here. Should I do math or accounting if I want to get rich and work in finance? I wanted to do accounting but all the math seems low level and to be safe from automation it's better to have high level math skills and know how to code.

What should I do? The plus side to Accounting is that I can go to a 3 year college (bachelors) that doesn't have any of the shitty humanities classes and just teaches things you need to know related to your job and mandatory internships after the first semester

Opposite a God Tier major, a Shit Tier major bust be in a subject area in which even major developments only have a trivial effect on society; further, these majors must offer a worse prospect for life success than not going to college. While it seems like difficulty should be taken into account, these descriptions seem to suggest a natural difficulty curve. As examples, I would suggest Physics is God Tier, as developments in physics have a profound effect on life, and completing a physics degree offers a relatively reliable path to life success. A Shit Tier major would be communications--any major development to communications would actually come from another discipline, and there is very little you can reliable do with a communications major. In this schema, I'd suggest that a Mid Tier major where the bulk of engineering and business majors go; this is a category for majors which offer little influence, but a solid career path.

Sure, plenty of professors get payed to do research in math. I don't think there are many people outside of academia that get to spend a significant portion of their time working on math problems like that though. If you work in an industry lab and by the grace of God you aren't doing data science, then you most likely have to work on something mission focused i.e. something that is expected to make the company money in the near future.
