I saw that on QI (so did you) and I was shocked that it wasn't obvious to everyone. I don't mean that in the elitist, snobbish way I usually mean things like that. I mean I thought it was intuitive and it turns out I was just so used to it from studying mechanics...

Including air resistance it is still true. Both feel the same air resistance due to their falling, since they're falling at the same rate. I suppose that the ball and the bullet have to be the same size and shape, though.
