I'm 33 years old and I feel like getting more retarded by the day. The hell is wrong with me? It is getting harder to remember things or to connect concepts is normal time frame. What can one do? Send help :(

You're dying. By the time you reach 50 your cognitive abilities will significantly decline. Enjoy the ride.

Is your breathing normal during day?

When you mention it doctor said that one of the walls in my nose is not quite right and I should consider surgery sooner or later.

This happened to me OP
At the end , at least in my case, I found out it was due to my consumption of MSG. I have since cut it off and started seeing improvements, I messed around with noopept also. I feel almost normal now. I had it really bad. I would struggle with speaking, and forget words.

You're not getting dumber, you're simply getting a larger collection of memories where you've been stupid. Focus on the positive.

Because you stopped exercise your brain. If this is the case, yes, you will forget everything you learned.

You should never ever stop learning things. You must be an eternal student. That's the true way.

You're aging.

>What can one do?

Exercise, eat healthier, routinely take tests that improve fluid intelligence on human-benchmark. Old people love trivia and puzzles for a reason.

Unironically read some Wikipedia pages. Everytime you encounter something you don't understand either read that page or black box (appreciate it is as a concept and read on appreciating its relationship to the other concepts) the concept and continue reading; do this for something that you find interesting and do it until you can start applying your knowledge to real life (yes it happens eventually) or your research skills are good enough to answer questions on your own.

Come back if you have any questions.

Make sure you eat healthy diet, plenty of animal products, make sure you take vitamins (like multivitamin) also take additional zinc (200% RDV) and iodine you can go as much as 300% of what recomended.
Then get enough sleep, take a break, a vacation from work (actually go somewhere like a resort where you can have all included), relax, chill, recharge yourself.
Another thing if you care about iq at your age, forget drugs, alcohol, cigarretes, I suggest limit or even stop drinking coffee.

You're probably just relaxing too much. Think of your brain as a muscle the less you use it the weaker it gets. If you don't workout for months you lose muscle. You should actively challenge yourself, read, plenty of brain games for it on the app store if that's your thing.

I never found a solution myself. At first it was probably psychological (a result from depression and isolation). Then I actually got hit hard in my head and spine, also did some stupid shit like fasting for several days, also ate bad for a long time, smoked and drank too much coffee.

I think it was mostly the blow though. I never felt like my old self again. Now at 27 not quite feeling fine, and I'm slowly coming in terms that I might not be as smart as I used to.

Or maybe it's still psychological and the result of not challenging my mind for years. who knows. the state of modern medicine is shit when it comes to issues like this one.

take this from a complete stranger, I've done my research:

>Fix your breathing. Breathe from the diaphragm. You do that by fixing your shoulders in space and feeling your belly contract and expand

>Intermittent or complete starvation: Give up food for a day or two in succession and work with it. Autophagy is accelerated in a fasting state.

>Give up sugar, that shit causes cancer anyway.
