Most 'good jobs' at that level are not obtained via applications. The company I work at now has a careers@ email address where people can submit their resumes. But I don't think we've ever hired a guy from that. It's almost always done through referrals and internal recruiters.

A math degree is a general, 'Jack of all trades' degree. If you are confident you can score a 3.5+ GPA as a math major then you are set for life. You'll be able to Chad your way past most STEM majors.

If you don't think you can score that high a GPA then you will end up an underemployed wage slave. Pick a specialized area instead.
