If I really like a show I will most likely check out the director and studio because there is a very high probability that I'll like their other shows. Same goes for episode directors and key animators. The same also goes for shows I really hate because if I learn the studio and director, I'll know what shows to avoid for the coming years. For example, if anything has the tag A1-pictures you know it's shit and can be safely ignored. If anything is from studio Bones you know it will be at least worth trying, etc.
