Hey /sci/ what's the best math program at Waterloo? I'm thinking of doing pure maths but I don't want to fuck myself over financially for the rest of my life

Hey a question I can answer. Mathematical physics, minor in pure math. You get to see all the niche applications of pure math in interesting ways. General relativity is constantly using differential geometry, particle physics has groups somewhere, fluids is all about calculus. I know a few people going into masters programs for pure math that started in mathematical physics

Applied math is just watered down pure math. It's not anymore applicable.

Pmath for sure. Everything else is watered down, just take CS electives if you're scared of no money. All my friends in pmath make stacks on co-op terms while I made the large brainlet play to do nothing with my life except math.
