Because god only wants the stupid ones to succeeded (after they die). You have to have faith, without any tangible evidence, actually despite tangible evidence to the contrary; only then can you enter into the kingdom of god.

That is because heaven is actually unimaginably boring, you just sit around all day praising god, telling him how great he is and shit. Kinda like how the scam emails are so bad that only the truly gullible ones will reply, filtering out the people who would just waste the scammers time.

Let's say an intelligent person gets to heaven and starts asking god the hard questions, or wants to do scientific research on the nature of heaven, that would be so annoying to god, he would rather you just not get in in the first place.
