Why do people who are actually concerned with ethics even pursue science? It is literally handicapping yourself.

Dissecting living animals as children should be brought back to weed out the useless hangers on who are limiting science with their imaginary beliefs.

Please show me your scientific achievements Mr. Edge.

>just ignore politics, bro, we don't need the general population's acceptance to do our work
>my big brain allows me to dissect living humans without anesthetics because my massive intellect overrides my conscience
How much anime do I need to watch to reach this level?

Stop implying that biology is a science. It hardly is.

They don't, you are forced to be concerned with ethics by boards of people who don't do science but will take away your project, laboratory, house, life, everything, if you don't follow the rules.

It's quite simple really. You think scientists really get angry when they see chinese researchers doing crispr experiments in humans? They are jealous they couldn't do it first, but have to show outrage to keep receiving funds.

You dont, what are they going to do? Stop you? They couldn't stop the gays from being married, the Mexicans or the jews from getting in their country clubs. Just do it.

It's not far down the slippery slope to go from 'dissecting live animals because morality's a spook' to 'dissecting live animals including humans because morality's a spook'

throughout my career, i have realised more and more that experimenting upon animals is unecessary in most circumstances

The slippery slope fallacy is an argument that claims that if one thing happens or is allowed to happen, then that will lead to other steps and ultimately to a final outcome. In other words, if the first thing happens, then the last thing is inevitable.
