Mathematics? It's just a descriptive way of interchange of information, therefore it's language, isn't it? Is encoding a language? There are like more languages in the same encoding, there can be different language of maths that describes same thing, even with different encoding, but... I think that earthly common mathematics could be useful for a scientist.
