This is accurate. However if you are a good person with a good personality and nothing else, people tend to like you, even if your social status is not very high.
On the other hand, people will be forced to interact with you if you are an asshole with a very high social status. But that is much harder to achieve.

This is muscle worship. It's a bit different from what I have (for some reasons, strength and muscle fetish are bunched up together but they're pretty different. It's not a meme, it just means that you should try to find people that are compatible with your personality instead of trying to fit in with people that are not.

That works in general cases. That is, it works for normies and people who are somewhat close to being a normie. If you're an extreme case of an asshole or a weirdo you won't fit anywhere, or you will only fit with people that are exactly like you. That's the point where you should consider trying to change your behavior if you want to be social.

There's a difference between the general case and the extreme case. In the general case, "be yourself" means "don't try to change your personality when there's nothing wrong with it". In the extreme case, there actually is something wrong with your personality that's stopping you from being able to socialize.

Something I've realized in my life is that first impressions are incredibly important. Once you have imprinted some kind of character in a person's mind they will forever be prejudiced towards that character. If you don't have a good initial report with a group over the first few weeks then just bug out and find another group.

This isn't often possible but whenever it is possible, do it.

I've seen so many people who were mocked in high school but once they left and found unfamiliar people they had a clean start to form a new character. I've felt this often.
