I often see this but I have a hard time believing it. I have met people that have massive problems grasping certain concepts and ideas and sometimes even struggle with Logic on a Grade School level. They may be able to hold a menial work job but that seems to be the extend on what they can do.

A musician starts out bad but practices every day diligently. He becomes good

A musician starts out bad and give up. Everytime he’s asked to play it sounds bad so believes he’s always going to be bad.

It’s not just about hard work in the moment, it’s about hard work over a long time.

The less you work the more you rely on talent. Some people have none. That shouldn’t stop them but it does.

This isn’t just math it goes for basic social skills and elementary school logic. Some people start with less talent than you’ll ever understand, but everyone with out a serious learning disability could improve if they only could work on something they really suck at.

It is possible, but highly unlikely, not only because brainlets calculate things slower but also because it is harder for them to understand concepts that need a high level of logical thinking.
