Depends on how realistic it is or if it can provide things which a biocunt couldn't.
If it's truly sentient I probably don't wanna just stuff it under the bed und pull it out when I feel like it, but this also depends on what sentience is.

Sci-fi almost always depicts sentient androids and such as being very literal-minded, unemotional and so on.
It seems more likely that they'd have the same kind of emotional needs and pitfalls as humans.
While there are bound to be some advantages of being with an android, they'd probably still be as just as likely to be batshit crazy as a regular human.
