Should people with demonstrated and repeated low intelligence and aptitude on empirical measurements of cognitive ability be barred from pursuing STEM?

Scientifically speaking, why shouldn't I kill myself after stopping going to class, forgetting my SO's birthday, and completely blowing off 5 tests because I got addicted to a certain Transnitrian Competitive Ox-Carting Circular and am barely more than a self-aware near-p-zombie?

When a man who got hit in the head with a literal particle beam is more capable than you, should you just end it?

Boltzmann committed suicide because no one believed his entropy thing.
He'd rather be dead than live in a world full of brainlets. A true an hero.

No parallel brain processing is superior to single brain processing. What you have to consider is that responsibility should be granted to those who are competent.

No such thing as low IQ
Lynn's estimates are clearly biased, and probably politically motivated.

You have childrens who lost points because :
- Most knew English only as a foreign language.
- Some were not used to pencils and could not draw. One boy said it was the first time he ever drew a picture.
- Some were not familiar with line drawings.
- Some did not wear Western clothes and so did not draw people that way.
- Many did not know about telephones, tennis, dollars, miles or other things common in America.

And Lynn marked down some scores and did not say why or how :
-Boys in Uganda who averaged 86 Lynn marked down to 80.
- Zulu children in South Africa who averaged 89 were marked down to 74.
- From a study on Nigeria and Sierra Leone he took the two worst samples out of five. No reason given.
- Of the 42 studies he could have used, Lynn used 11. They had an average IQ of 67. The studies he did not use had an average IQ of 80. He gave no reason for his choice

Unbiased stats from Wicherts gives Africa the average IQ of Netherlands in 1950, which is 81.

>Also, is the success of a country correlated with its average IQ?
Yes. But that's it. A correlation that needs a proper context to be interpreted. It can means that country with high IQ have people who are more educated and less malnoutrished, and that education and lack of malnoutrishment correlates with wealth and IQ. It can means many things.
