In Iceland, they do this with Down Syndrome-diagnosed human beings, but for real. If you find your thing absurd and laughable, then etc , an actual moral problem. The whole context of the OP suggests that it's just piss-takes but the real serious problem remains that in Iceland, they claim to cure the disease by continally killing the patients, which remains a logical absurdity regardless of one's morality or lack thereof.

You completely missed the point of the initial post about Iceland abortions. To be fair, I was drunk at the time and I wrote poorly. My point was not "abortion is bad" (it is). I left that to one side.

My point was, "it is obviously stupid and illogical to claim that you have cured a disease, by continually and pre-emptively killing the fetuses/people who you identify as having the disease." But this is precisely what Iceland claims to have done, and must continue doing on an ongoing basis, if it wishes to keep its Downie population at zero. But short of genetic engineering which altogether precludes its formation during pregnancy in a given population, the /disease itself/, the condition, clearly hasn't been "cured". And this is semantically obvious to reasonable human beings regardless of their personal morality, religion, or lack thereof: I'm an atheist btw.
