>Here is an update on Jacob. Jacob turned 20 in May. He returned to Perimeter from working at Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology this year! He has a girlfriend and an apartment! He is still doing his research in Loop Quantum Gravity at Perimeter Institute. Some of the things he has been also up to are scuba diving, becoming a champion Fussball player and arial yoga. Let's be clear. There absolutely is no talent with this kid. Rich parents and having resources opened this kids door, not his intellect. Anything the "autism" did for him was give him affirmative action points.
Now, I will dismantle this snot nosed brat's update.

Since the retard failed any introduction, this is the specimen in question.

>Here is an update on Jacob.
First, if you ever here the name's Jacob or David, immediately suspect them being Jewish. Barnett is a common Jewish name. The two of them combined show that he is likely a Jew, and, no not that there is any conspiracy, but Jews help other Jews out and there is social benefit to being one.
>returned to Perimeter from working at Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology this year
So? This is free media coverage for all of them. Helping some idiot savant out gets them free media coverage.

It's a waste of resources to give this piece of shit anything. There are many 150+ IQ men who are given nothing who have to fight for every opportunity in life. You subsidized me and gave me connections like this kid had— and there would be no contest, I'd blow him out of the water in every metric except being a good obedient drone hidden-figure-tier buttboy for his superiors. Instead, intelligent people are given nothing and expected to fight tooth and nail against vastly incompetent people, literal retards in the case of this guy and we're expected to play nice. Look at Chris Langan (verified IQ of 200). His entire talent went to complete waste because the university fucked him out of his scholarship and he had to walk to college 15 miles in the snow before calling it quits. Nobody gave him a damned cent. Propping this kid up and supporting him isn't cute. It is dysgenic and disgusting and I will not give him any social esteem.

>In contrast Barnett has actually made a point to study Physics to PhD level despite being a kid.
You mean, his condition and his parents opened doors for him to make it possible and everyone funded him along the way? You know there are many intelligent kids who want to go to college early, who drop out and apply for GEDs and take the SATs and are basically rejected until they are 17? There is a reason why the really young college student meme is almost totally limited to 'disabled persons' and minorities. Regardless, the decision to go to college early and "making a point to do something", itself isn't indicative of intelligence but rather vanity and wanting to do something for social acclaim and out of temporal expediency. It's arose from social reinforcements and pats on little Jakey's back telling him he was really smart boy, and calls on his parents behalf. Jacob the joke.

You're jealous that he's autistic? If your parents have enough cash, or you pull out a student loan you have more than enough financially to do what he's doing.

>You know there are many intelligent kids who want to go to college early, who drop out and apply for GEDs and take the SATs and are basically rejected until they are 17?

Internet conspiracy theory, which does not indicate test drilling. An example of an IQ fraud would be Rick Rosner.
Langan has taken the WAIS and other tests administered on the spot by psychologists hired by ABC news and others which verified his IQ met the highest possible score.
>You're jealous that he's autistic? If your parents have enough cash, or you pull out a student loan you have more than enough financially to do what he's doing.
No. I'm upset that it is considered a factor in admitting him to these institutions, and that it benefits him; as these institutions Whereas healthy people receive nothing, and in many cases are penalized for being 'normal', he not only gets affirmative action points when it comes to university quotas, and is favored simply because he is a freak they can put on display. Life is a zero sum game, for him to have gotten in, means someone potentially more talented missed out.
>Can't be too bright if they're dropping out of school to take those exams.
You see the absurdity of the statement? You offered early entrance as an example of intelligence, and now say intelligent people who are otherwise healthy should be precluded from the process? This is what some neurotypical intelligent white male student wanted to go to college early would have to do. Yet, for the same act, he isn't that intelligent and shouldn't be admitted early, yet because Mr. Drooling Autist and his parents think he is really smart wants to, then by God, give him the keys to the university!
>He got noticed because he was intellectually exceptional. Then he went on to fuflill expectations lmao.

Sure, he's a smart guy. Apparently not smart enough to score well in a high-range test the first time around though.

>No. I'm upset that it is considered a factor in admitting him to these institutions
Overcoming a disability to do well is a pretty impressive thing. Luck is always a factor, and he fulfilled the promise anyway achieveing his Bachelors with ease, Masters with ease at Perimeter (One of the top institutions in the world) and he's doing his PhD at 20 years old. It's all incredibly impressive stuff.

>Whereas healthy people receive nothing
He got admitted early into a mid-range University on the basis of talent people noticed early. Ordinary trajectories for people without disabilities usually involve going to the International Mathematical Olympiad and qualifying to do their Bachelors at top Universities. Not really a huge step backwards from Barnett.

>Life is a zero sum game, for him to have gotten in, means someone potentially more talented missed out.
Missed out on his position at a mid-range uni? Where he actually excelled in his classes? What a tragedy.

>You see the absurdity of the statement? You offered early entrance as an example of intelligence
Someone noticing your talent and putting you forward for College-level mathematics IS an example of intelligence. Taking it into your own hands with absolutely no guarantee of success when the alternative is arguably even MORE prestigious is retarded.

I published a math paper successfully when I was 17 and thought I was the smartest person ever to live. Looking back now it's so obviously crackpot garbage because I didn't understand the subject nearly deep enough. I merely rediscovered a novel aproach and barely scratched the surface of something done comprehensively in the 90s, producing no meaningful results. To my eternal fortune I had the foresight to publish it under a pseudonym so the teenage embarrassment isn't tied to me permanently.
Looking back, I really could have leveraged that with press and moron normies. If I was less self aware and my parents were rich Jews I could have bullshited the press for free gibs, in the same way the "genius computer black kid" gets national coverage for knowing how to assemble a PC.
My point is, this guy is doing things he barely understands and he's milking the normies that understand it even less. He's a physicist in the same way Ahmed the clock engineer is an EE genius and yet Ahmed got a full ride to MIT.

How do you even approach that ethically? You can con the majority in order to get free rides and "genius cred" for the price of literally lying and being laughed at by actual experts behind closed doors. I encounter "genius" IPhO students every year and while they cruise through uni grades-wise, their understanding and research is median at best and the fact they grinded through a billion highschool "gotchas" and learned calculus a year early brings them zero respect amongst peers, but would bring them loads of opportunities if you marketed it in a right way.

My impression of Jacob from the videos of him when he was younger, was that he had an excellent memory and excellent calculation ability. But these aren't really the qualities that will make you a great scientist. They are helpful for sure, but they are only tools.

Compare to Einstein, who derived a novel proof of Pythagoras' theorem as a child. Something like that is an very good predictor of real scientific ability.

I think people like Jacob use their mental abilities to accelerate very fast through childhood/teenage years, but taper off rather quickly. A good memory doesn't help you much when you are in unexplored territory.
