So let's start with: sociology and psychology are soft sciences. That means they're hard to rigorously prove and falsify. That means that bunk theories and ideologies are a lot more common in these sciences than others.

This anon is correct. The 40% suicide attempt rate is pretty good, all things considered. Sure, the numbers could be higher, but with time (and an aging, drug-addled male body) I'm certain we'll see even higher figures. We might never reach that golden 100% suicide rate, but even an increase to 50 or 60% would be a welcome development. I also take heart in the fact that nearly everyone who transitions is voluntarily taking themselves out of the gene pool.

transition starts when someone starts their journey of being a woman. It doesn't have to include any surgery or hormones, it can be as simple as admitting that you experience gender dysphoria and that your gender dysphoria will be aleviated the more you feel, act, look, and treated as a female.

Basically, "transition" refers to admitting you are trans, and acting like it.

Don't fret anon, now that people are starting to come around to the idea that chemical castration of their "trans" children at younger ages is the right thing to do, I'm sure we're going to see even better figures soon. After all these drugs that are used to "stop puberty" also greatly reduce bone mass and cause cognitive decline. Who knows what other unknown effects long term administration of these drugs cause? The possibilities are endless.

Just make sure you keep advocating for younger and younger trans children to be able to "transition", we may finally rid the world of homosexuals.

Red flag right here. There's a big discrepancy between professional assessment and self reported assessment (not to mention the potential bias of the people conducting the professional assessment). And yet, most of these studies rely entirely on questionnaires and self reporting.

Second red flag:

So the patients are reporting satisfaction with the surgery (that life altering event they've spent years or decades working towards), but are still significantly dissatisfied with their lives.
