yes you can do well in every part of science that isn't physics. Biology, geology... any -ology, is literally as difficult as collecting stamps. Outside theoretical physics, a scientist is just someone who collects data

>>10380256
There's nothing wrong with stamp collecting. It's crucial for the advancement of knowledge and technology. You just have to focus your efforts and collect the useful stamps. Then let the high IQ people use that knowledge to come up with useful applications. You'll still get partial credit, and all you did was collect stamps.

>le stamp collecting meme XD
this triggers me mainly because it’s not that accurate even as a joke. biology is more like if the stamps were actually jigsaw puzzle pieces, and there were 10000000+ pieces.

you're talking about molecular biology. you're forgetting there's like, describing a new bug you scooped up and all that. Or is that called zoology? Counting the fish in the lake going up or down. Ecology? Is it still biology?
Btw i did eng and sci degrees, aside from molecular bio which fucked me, the science courses felt like preshool activities compared to the simplest eng ones.

I pretty much take it as a given that people mean molecular biology when they say biology.

People usually refer to those other subfields by their specific name, e.g. zoology, ecology, botany, etc.

If you mean physicist then no.

Try engineering instead. A lot of low IQ retards manage to become decent electrical engineers.

Physics and Mathematics require a sense of "intuition". You need to feel like you grasp it innately to be truly good at it. I know this because I have this with Physics and have always been the top of the class. While I don't have this with mathematics and have to put a lot of effort into it to just keep up with the class.

The other sciences are more knowledge based and thus can be done if you just put enough effort into it.

>> No.10380432

>>10380361
Yep I recommend this as well. You will make more money than physicists as well so it's a win-win situation. Both easier and more rewarding.

Within reason, so long as you're on the right side of average (90–109), or perhaps high average (109–119 ) for the "harder" sciences, like physics.
Although, you might struggle at graduate school.

You do realise IQ is fluid right? You lock a kid up with just food and water for 10 years and let him do an IQ test after that he’ll score like shit. Neuroplasticity is a thing especially through the onset of puberty if you don’t feed your brain and give it the environment to grow, it’ll just wither and fade. A lot of it boils down to giving a shit, if kids started giving a shit about reading at a much earlier age instead of killing their brain cells on the internet, I would imagine we would have had a much higher general intellect in the population.

bro graduate school is an open ended endeavour. Skill ceiling is non existent, this is because it’s mainly research. The point where you don’t struggle is research is the point where you have discovered everything there is to discover about the world.
