Tbh this was me my first two years of engineering. Perfect 4.0 in engineering. Literally never went to a single lecture and just studied the book and went of office hours when I didn’t understand something (I got to office hours 15 minutes early every time every chance and hogged all hour so other students all hated me)

The more difficult the language, the easier the class. Take Japanese. Grind out Kana and like 500 kanji and you will be head and shoulders above your peers by year two.
