Scientifically speaking, why do grilled pork sausages with tomatoes and onions taste so good to me? There wasn't any grilled food in out ancestral environment so why would it be delicious to us?

Because trying to explain all human behavior, desires, and interests under a lens of evo-psych is literally retardation.

Sensory pleasure, the same reason people like pretty colors. Which would you rather have a some whey protein or a gourmet meal? The onions, tomatoes, and the spices in the sausage give you a wealth of sensory inputs that trigger the reward centers in the brain, that's all I can say without bullshitting.

Our ancestors did have cooked food. People started cooking food a long time ago. And cooking makes calories, especially from fat, more available.

You can LITERALLY describe why food tastes good using biology, faggot.

Because it meets certain criteria... Generally evolution is geared to make you avoid things that harm you, not necessarily to bias towards that which is most beneficial.
