Everytime I see the amount of work I have to complete I just end up procrastinating.

So how do you /sci/entists do it? How do you stay on track with your work? Also, how do you focus on work in a distracting and noisy environment?

When you depend on your work for your livelihood you either do it or you lose all of your privileges in this society. So when you are ready tell your mom to stop paying your bills.

>Also, how do you focus on work in a distracting and noisy environment?
Move to another place.

This is the only true answer.

Maybe you just need to work 12/hr jobs for a few years and see if you like it.

Nearly all disciplined people are just stupid people with "ambitions." The thought of a 40 year career doing the same insignificant nonsense over and over motivates them rather than nauseates them. All people who perform well in school are like this. If you're too smart to think a normal life is even remotely desirable or too smart to not realize how rigged everything is, then you're pretty much fucked as far as "discipline" goes.

Start deadlifting and squatting. Then two things will happen, 1) your taste in women will sharpen i.e. you will only be attracted to /fit/ or hyper-thicc women, thereby driving you to do better in life to attract those types of thots 2) you wont be such a pussy

By doing it instead of shitposting on /sci/ in a desperate attempt to validate your own lazy shitty behavior.
Sit the fuck down.
Do the fucking work.
Stop making excuses.
That's literally all there is to it. There's no super sekrit trick thats going to help you as long as you insist on fucking about.

I do it just to increase my test levels. I feel anxiety fading right after a squat session. It's good for depression too.
