This guys is overrated af. Just because he dreamt up (along with the hundreds of whacky stuff he claimed he could do ) some obscure idea of relaying messages to hand held devices, doesn't mean he understood the viability of such technology, let alone the working principles behind it. In fact, his grasp on physical theory, including Electromagnetism, had many holes even for his time. This guy believed that the ether was real and space was inherently charged, years after it had been proven that it wasn't. He went bankrupt trying to transmit wireless power across the Atlantic. Also I read that he believed Einstein's theory of gravitation was wrong and purported that he had ideas for a better theory.kek. And don't get me started with the DeathRay claim.
