on my STEM university about 70% of students are female. Granted I live in Europe and not in the US and we don't have affirmative action here.

But women tend to have higher education and overrepresented in university in every single field.

For example I've never paid for first dates in my life and my girlfriend pays for most stuff as she makes more money than me. Many women are pushed towards higher education by societal influences. All the advertising I've seen for higher education has been marketed towards women, the entire system is a feminized space. Hell, even in the math lab at my college the only posters on the wall are "Mathematics in everyday life" and shit about "Women in STEM"

Beyond that, as some anons have already pointed out, women overwhelmingly go into education fields which are highly competitive with relatively low pay rates. I believe this is because they're told higher education is the only way to have a stable life in the future, but they're largely only interested in things which don't pay quite well even with a college degree. The result is they think they have to go to school for something that's largely useless, and end up passing all their classes since they're easy as shit.

My final thought is that school classroom type environments are generally geared towards the style of learning women are more proficient at. I'm admittedly not studied enough on this subject to go too deep into it, but it breaks down to women being better than men at sitting down and just learning. Men, on the other hand, have evolved to be better at learning "on the go," and have difficulty just sitting and studying in the same way women do. This is especially evident in highschool, but it carries over to higher education in one way or another.

Women don't have STEM brains and I am proof. I don't really care if you guys fuck with me for posting this, I'm just trying to give meaningful input from a reliable source to a meaningful board. I'm in my third year of my CS degree, and while I have a good GPA, I am still completely shit at programming and math. The guys in my class help me, never the girls, because they are equally retarded. And trust me, I know I'm shit at programming, because I cant even muster the courage to ask my professors for help because I worry they will judge me. I help girls in my C programming class, also have helped them in the past, and they all admit that they too are retarded. I am in calculus II right now and even my math teacher admitted he thought only guys were successful in math from his experience. How can we incentivize males in higher ed?
couple things:
1) Men in the west tend to be quite individualistic, not inclined to help each other out. We need to make and encourage the use of mentorship programs from high school through graduate school. Men with men. Sounds gay, maybe it is, but mostly I think it will help with career planning and encouragement
2) Put in some fucking effort to school discipline. Hire more male pre-college teachers, look for people who have a passion for helping young people reach their full potential. They might have their own anti-male bias, but the gender ratio of teachers needs to be solved almost immediately.
3) We might have to get rid of some of the crutches men are using to drop out, tune in, get mad, get angry, get dumb.
I'm talking about video games, weed, porn, etc. All the most essential parts of a young doomer's life.
