The thing is. Many African ethnicities are very high performance. Many are not. The same is true for European and Asian ethnicities.
The thing about race is that even with our current data, it is a very arbitrary grouping of unrelated people. If you want to talk about the science, then use a more refined grouping based on actual genetics.
But that wouldn't serve the purpose of the racists. That's why they insist on grouping all blacks and all Asians and all whites together.
If they didn't. If they used a more refined grouping, we would see that there are black groups that are high performance and white groups that are not. But that doesn't really work for the racists that want to have a justification to hate on black people.

Experts refered in the quanta magazine article and other articles apparently aren't agreeing with your statement. Because the original researcher who tested humans and apes does not recognize the other species who pass the mirror test as legitimate. While the recent test passers, ants and fish are causing cognitive scientists to question the test itself.

Actually it does because if you don't need a complex neural system to pass then you can't use the test as a way to explain off cognitive differences in human races.
